What I enjoy most about HR is the ability to assist people and organizations become the best they can be. Every day in HR is different, it allows for personal and professional growth, learning and development which I truly find rewarding.
I started my HR career 6 years ago with a non-profit organization and moved into the private sector, gaining experience along the way. In my last position, I acquired experience in a variety of HR disciplines such as recruitment and onboarding, training and development, occupational health and safety, performance management and employee relations.
I hold a BBA in Management and International Business from Vancouver Island University and was able to continue my studies by completing my Human Resource Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University in November 2020. I am currently working towards my CPHR Designation.
In my spare time, I volunteer on a committee for a non-profit organization, I enjoy playing sports, going to concerts, traveling and reading.
