For the past 17 years, I have journeyed with people from all walks of life as a career counsellor and employment facilitator. With my BA in Psychology from UBC, and my MEd in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria, I help others who are striving to transform their lives, whether that is through a new job, a new career, or a new level of awareness of what they can offer the workplace.
Passionate about supporting personal growth, I have designed and implemented energizing workshops for corporate clients, non-profit organizations, school staff and administration, and public servants.
My seminars have covered a wide range of topics including personality dynamics, communication skills, the multi-generational workplace, and workplace appreciation.
In other past endeavours, I’ve facilitated career development and job search workshops for Camosun College and UVic, as well as for multiple non-profit organizations. These sessions have encompassed decision making strategies, networking, interviewing, and job maintenance. I have also developed and delivered Emotional Intelligence workshops focused on assertiveness, stress management, conflict resolution, and understanding diversity.
Whether I’m creating a professional resume, a job search plan, or a team building seminar, my ultimate goal is to be a catalyst and partner in helping individuals and organizations to achieve their goals.
