Kenzie George, MSLOC, MBA, B.Sc., Prosci
As Training and Development Partner, Kenzie facilitates exceptional learning experiences for participants in our training sessions. She brings incredible depth in teachable skills such as communication, psychological safety, active listening, performance management and giving feedback, delegation, project organization and time management. She is also experienced in designing onboarding processes, training curriculum for new managers, and solutions for team development. Somehow Kenzie also finds the time to help build our internal structures and systems to support our growing training department.
Known for her coaching mindset and approach to training, Kenzie asks challenging questions to get clarity on the root of a problem, where the real work begins. A strong collaborator, she enjoys working with clients and colleagues to co-create the right solution to fit the specific goal. She brings a wealth of training experience to Engaged, including materials design for an international coaching company, curriculum design and development for e-learning and in-person training, and creation of leadership development programs for high-level professionals like veterinarians and executives. Her adaptability and skill with facilitation enables her to shift hats quickly between coaching, facilitating and training in order to maximize participant learning.
Kenzie chooses this work because she’s passionate about helping people grow, change and learn—and because she knows she’s able to make an impact.
I love witnessing AHA moments! Even back when I was teaching music and swimming as a teenager, I’ve always loved it when something clicks—when I can explain or demonstrate something just right and the student ‘gets’ it.
Kenzie’s MBA (2014) honed her presentation skills, business acumen and ability to excel in high-pressure environments. She earned her Prosci change management certification in 2015, an organizational and leadership coaching certification from Northwestern University in 2019, and a Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change from the same institution. Kenzie joined our team at Engaged in 2022, after several years as a learning and development specialist with a publicly traded US company.
Even in her off hours, Kenzie still loves learning! She enjoys travelling to a new world in a novel, exploring classes ranging from poetry to archery and everything in between, engaging in lively discussion about thought leaders or current events, and exercising her creative brain through writing or making music (piano, handbells, or one of the eclectic instruments she’s found while travelling). Her passion for words and writing shows up in her training content and in blog posts for the Engaged website.
