As our Manager of Talent Acquisition Services, Ryan Ramikie’s focus is on leading and resourcing our team to do its excellent work. He brings a depth of experience and skill to human resources procedures and methodologies, as well as process improvement and quality assurance in the HR space. Ryan manages our delivery of a diverse range of recruitment services, and serves as a key mentor to our talent acquisition team.
Known for his outstanding collaboration and teamwork, Ryan excels in accomplishing assignments and tasks on time and on budget, and maintains exceptional integrity in following through on commitments and agreements as discussed. With his sharp eye for talent, he has worked across the organizational spectrum, from startups to large multinational corporations. He has been responsible for overseeing last-minute executive hires to the C-suite, staffing startups to reach a billion-dollar valuation, and hiring difficult-to-reach talent in remote locations by organizing robust compensation plans. Ryan joined Engaged HR in 2023.

With a diploma in marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Ryan dedicated his early career to marketing and business development. After various roles in the BD space, a friend in recruitment broached the idea over dinner with friends that Ryan might perhaps consider the world of HR and recruitment. It blended the social aspects that he loved about business development with the deeply fulfilling work of helping people to change their careers—and their lives—for the better. That was 12 years (and two continents) ago, and he’s never looked back.
Ryan is fascinated by business, science and culture, and keeps up with tech and its effects on society via wired.com. When he looks back over his journey so far, he’s proud of—and a little surprised by—having moved to Germany pre-Covid to work for a couple years before Covid brought him back to Canada. When he’s not recruiting star power into your organization or mentoring our talent acquisition specialists right here at home, you can find Ryan taking it slow, camera in hand as he looks for unique street scenes, architecture and landscapes.
