Jeremy Patterson
My passion for Human Resources stems from my love for building relationships, supporting others, and ensuring employees are happy at their workplace. The amazing Engaged team also exemplifies those characteristics and much more. Starting my HR career throughout the pandemic, I have become accustomed to being flexible, adaptable, and effective during continuous change. I love the ever-changing landscape of being an HR professional; truly there is never a dull moment.
I am a graduate of Camosun College obtaining a BBA in Human Resource Management and Leadership, as well as a Diploma in Finance. I am currently working towards my CPHR designation.
My experience is as an HR generalist, particularly in areas such as recruitment and retention, payroll and benefits, OH&S, injury and attendance management, employee relations, and HRIS administration.
In my spare time, you can find me with my wife and son around Vancouver Island trying to find the best poutine, engaging in new activities, or spending time with friends and family.
